Jaffa Family: Katelyn is Two!

My first little baby is growing up, and embracing toddlerhood. She definitely has her tantrum moments, but for the most part she's still a sweetheart and loves her baby brother. She weighs 23 lbs and is 31.5 inches tall (7th percentile, little shrimp). She wears mostly 2T size clothes, her torso is long so the shirts fit great, but the pants she's more of 18 month size. Depending on the brand she's between a size 4-5 shoe. She has 15 teeth, she's missing one of her lateral incisors and it doesn't look like it will ever come in. We'll have to wait and see if the permanent one is missing too. Her favorite foods are: Bananas, blueberries, grapes, broccoli, yogurt, string cheese, popcorn, graham crackers, pancakes and waffles, muffins, chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes, fruit snacks, french fries, and cookies. Other things she loves right now are: Bubbles!! Nursery (she cries when we pick her up), Paw Patrol and Sarah & Duck (tv shows), trains (the toy kind, not sure if she's ever seen a real one), animals (toys, live ones, and on tv), and the iPad. She still doesn't like drinking milk, but she does like apple juice now. We moved her into a toddler bed and she has been doing great. She'll sit in it until I come in and get her to get up. She talks a lot! But it's still hard to decipher some of what she's saying. Words she says really well are: Daddy! (she still doesn't say "mommy"), Hi, Bye, Go!, Okay, Yeah/Yes, Baby Kyle, Please, Help, Food, Cheese, Ice (for water, she prefers it with ice), Phone, and iPad. She says quite a few other things, but doesn't pronounce them well, so it's more of a guessing game to figure out what it means. And she has strung words together like, "Where Daddy go?" She's sweet and tries to help with the baby by handing me his bottle and throwing away his diapers. Whenever he cries it's, "Oh! Baby Kyle sad!" She's a good big sister.
